In line with the recent objectives of the European Green Deal, the European Commission has just completed its public consultation on a new European initiative on sustainable corporate governance. One of the objectives of this initiative, planned for Q2 this year, is to ensure that companies address their adverse sustainability impacts, in their own operations and in their value chain by identifying and preventing relevant risks and mitigating negative impacts.

FESI invites you to an exclusive webinar with key representatives of the EU, multi-stakeholder initiatives and the sporting goods industry, in order to exchange views on the sustainable corporate governance initiative and in particular its due diligence part.

The panel discussion will be moderated by Tyler Gillard (Head of Due Diligence, OECD Centre for Responsible Business Conduct) and will gather presentations from:

  • Lucrezia Busa:  Member of the Cabinet of EU Commissioner for Justice Didier Reynders
  • Lara Wolters: MEP – Rapporteur for corporate due diligence and corporate accountability
  • Frank Henke: Senior Vice President, Sustainability / Global Operations – adidas
  • Sharon Waxman: President and CEO – Fair Labor Association
