What is FESI?
The Federation of the European Sporting Goods Industry (FESI) is the representative body for the sporting goods sector in Europe. FESI engages with all European political institutions and other European authorities and bodies that are impacting the Sporting Goods industry. Moreover, FESI also represents the interest of its members vis a vis Sport Governing bodies such as UEFA.
Monitors all legislative initiatives relating to the sporting goods industry at a European level
Offers an established and recognised channel for the voice of the sporting goods industry to be heard in Brussels
Communicates with a variety of European stakeholders across a wide range of issues, from trade, environment, sustainability and intellectual property, to product safety and many more

Promotion of Sporting Goods Industry / retailers
One of the main goals of FESI is to promote physical activity and fair and free trade world-wide.
FESI represents some 1,800 companies either directly or indirectly through our 12 national federations and Special groupings. FESI has most recently opened up to sport retailers and finalised a partnership agreement with FEDAS, the European Federation of Sports retailer.
FESI is a member of the World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI).
FESI is registered in the EU transparency register and accredited to the European parliament.
